Welcome on the website of the Yamaha Classic Racing Team
The impact of Yamaha into the Road Racing World of the sixties and seventies was tremendous. In these ‘’Golden Years’’ of Road Racing, the Yamaha’s were a force to be reckoned with. Thanks to innovative technology by the Engineers, talented Riders and especially the ever present will to win. A truly magnificent period, in which fascinating Works and production racers appeared, all capable of winning in every class where they were entered in.
Conserving, and sometimes recreating, the fabulous Yamaha machines that dominated the tracks Worldwide is the main goal of the Yamaha Classic Racing Team. But more than just restoring these presticious racers, the YCRT aims successfully in demonstrating all Team bikes in full functional order on the track. And where possible with the same Riders that once brought victory and glory the brand of the three crossed tuning forks Yamaha.
